Verda June Chess, a beloved daughter, (Born Verda June Birks) the eighth child of ten, to Orville Edwin & Minnie Maud Birks, in Melba, Idaho, June 5th, 1935. Passed away at St. Mary Hospital in Louisville, KY, on October 18th, 2025, at 90 years young.
A devoted Mother to 5 children, Rex Jorgensen, Cindy Ritchings (Angela Cayton), Janet Bateman (Doug Bateman) , Eric Jorgensen, Robert Jorgensen. A grandmother to 14 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren (at passing). An exclusive faithful member to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints
She will be cremated and have a memorial service. Saturday, October 25th, 2025, 10am-12pm at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints

Aunt June is my dad’s little sister. How we love her. She has five great kids who i also love. Im sure there must have been a very happy reunion in heaven with her parents and three sisters and three brothers. We will miss you Aunt June and never forget your loving ways!
