4/14/1963 - 09/27/2024

Victor Timothy Pesce II of New Albany, Indiana entered into his Heavenly Home September 27th 2024

Victor was the first-born son of Victor (Pesce) Bagala and Maryanne (Milano) Bagala.

He was raised to love the Lord and his family. He followed and believed the Message of Brother William Marrion Branham. You could always find him with his Bible taking notes or cooking in the kitchen to music. He loved a variety of music, but Gospel and Italian songs were among his favorites. Being an exceptional singer, he was constantly singing for the Lord or serenading someone in his family. To say that he was an amazing cook would not begin to describe his culinary skills. He loved to share his love of cooking with his family. Teaching his children about the Word and Italian family recipes were among his greatest passions.

He enjoyed fishing and relaxing by the water. Playing board games and spending an evening talking, eating, and being with those he held most dear were times that he cherished. Always with a quick witted one liner joke or pun, He never failed to cause an outburst of laughter. He had extremely strong opinions and he was never afraid to express them, especially when it was about the Lord or His Word. A wonderful husband, father, son, brother, and friend he will be greatly missed.

Victor is preceded in entering his Heavenly Home by his first wife Sarah Pesce, granddaughter Angelica Jackson, and grandson Zachary Jackson.

He is survived by his wife Amy Pesce of New Albany, IN.

His children Chandra Jackson (John) of Charlestown IN. Victor Timothy Pesce II (Katie) of Lexington, IN. Joshua Pesce (Meagan) of Collierville, TN. Cornelius Pesce (Angel) of Memphis IN, Samuel Cumbo of Louisville, KY. Matthew Cumbo of Jeffersonville, IN. Katelyn Cumbo of Vine Grove, KY

"There's not a Scripture in the Bible says a Christian dies. Christians do not die. You can't die. You have Everlasting Life, and how can it have an end to it? It can't have. So when we go to thinking of that, it makes our hearts rejoice, doesn't it?"

Joel William Pesce II

I have countless memories of my Uncle Tim, from our lively game nights to our random culinary adventures together cooking at random people’s houses.

As a child, he treated me with the same affection as his own children. I recall one particular instance when I was about 10 years old and visiting while my father was away in the Army. My cousins and I had been playing in the dirt heaps behind their trailer when we were summoned inside by my Aunt Sarah, a woman whose love for us was as boundless as her voice. The air was filled with the tantalizing aroma of meatballs and sauce, floating us in like the smell lines from hungry cartoon character.

After a thorough scrubbing, Uncle Tim emerged from the bedroom, requesting a Crystal Light. With a playful grin, he quipped, “Crystal was so light, I Schwepped her off her feet!” He then grabbed my aunt’s hand and began to dance, humming a cheerful tune. As we sat at the table, eagerly awaiting dinner, the boys and I couldn’t resist joining in and singing his serenade for a few seconds.

That moment, filled with laughter and love, remains etched in my memory. Unfortunately, a fractured arm sustained during a playful wrestling match with my cousin overshadowed the preceding events. However, those precious seconds with Uncle Tim and Aunt Sarah are the ones I choose to remember.

Years later, after my aunt’s passing, Uncle Tim returned to Tucson, and we spent countless hours playing games, fishing just the two of us, and engaging in heartfelt conversations one on one. Despite the occasional strain in our relationship, I cherished his unwavering faith and his commitment to his beliefs. Rest in peace, Uncle Tim
