WILLIAM (BILL) EDWARD ROWLEY

Bill was born to Harry and Estelle (Ferg) Rowley. He is preceded in death by his four brothers Harry Paul (Sonny) Rowley, Gordon Rowley, Richard (Butch) Rowley, and Jeffery Rowley.

Bill is survived by his wife Nettie May Rowley, son Christopher Paul and Jacki Lee Rowley with their children Ricky Wayne and Zaylee May Rowley. Also, his daughter Katherine LeeAnn Rowley and husband David Anthony Downs. And sisters Barbara Rowe, Patricia Heeke, Lucille, and Cynthia Rowley-Howell.

On 03/13/1976 Bill and Nettie were married. Nettie had prayed to God for a man that would love and stand by her for the rest of her life. A week later she dated Bill and never left his side.

Bill was a jokester. He started by calling his granddaughter a little butt head. But when she was four started telling him NO you are MY BUTT HEAD. When he asked why she told him because you don't do what I tell you to do. Also, when Ricky was small, he asked papaw what a wedgy was. Bill didn't account for how small he was and ending throwing him high into the air for a SUPER WEDGY.

Bill was an Army Veteran, he was known as Wild Bill to his golf buddies, an ardent fisherman, chauffeur and money man for yard sailing with his grandkids. Most of all he was a wonderful husband, loving father, father-in-law and papaw.

Bill Asked to please Come Home. And his Heavenly Father took him home Father's day 6/21/2026.
