01/04/1978-1/20/2025

William Phillips, 47, of Fishers, Indiana, passed away on January 20, 2025. Born and raised in New Jersey, he graduated from Millville Senior High School in 1996 before proudly serving in the United States Army for three years. He was part of the insurgence of Fallujah in Iraq in 2005, dedicating himself to his country with honor and courage.

William’s greatest joy in life was his children, who meant everything to him. He also had a deep love for music, often playing his guitar, and he found solace in cooking for those he loved.

He is survived by his loving parents, his sister, all of New Jersey, and his 18 cherished children. He is preceded in death by his beloved grandparents.

The Lord has called this soldier home, and his service is now complete. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in William’s memory to The Headstrong Project, a non-profit organization providing mental health support for veterans and their families.

Dad, knowing your gone is such a painful feeling and experience ever I wish I got to spend more time with you before you left I miss hearing you sing and play your guitar by the door I miss the smell of you and the sight of you I wish everyday I got to make more memories with you. I feel like I lost a piece of me since you left and it’s been hard to find it. I wish I got to see you play with us again and get to hear you laugh and hear your voice I remember you’re last text to me “I love you honey 🍯 “ I think about that text every time and it just hurts my heart is full of pain and grief. I just hope your looking over us and always thinking of us and watching us I’m always praying for you dad and wishing you peace and happiness I wish I got to see you once more just once more to tell you everything I wish I got to tell you things I never have since you left I wish for your present
Just to be around again dad. FOREVER REST IN PEACE 🕊️💔 LLW
