William Stephens

7/26/1964 - 10/18/2025

William Stephens, lovingly known as Steve, passed away peacefully on October 18,
2025, at Norton’s Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky.

Born and raised in Texas, Steve carried his Texas roots proudly wherever he went. He
later made his home in Indiana, where he built a life filled with laughter. A proud Texas
A&M fan, Steve could always be counted on to cheer for the Aggies during football and
basketball season or to enjoy a friendly roulette game at the casino.

Steve was a devoted father, brother, and grandfather whose greatest joy came from the
people he loved. He is survived by his daughter, Jessica Dixon, and her husband,
Blake, and their three children, Morgan Stephens, Maisen Stephens, and Josh Dixon;
his daughter, Daniella Szuppin, and her husband, Adi, and their son, Shane; and his
son, William Stephens. He also leaves behind his sister, Annette Barnes, and her
husband, Randy, along with many beloved nieces and nephews. Andrew Jones, who
was like a son to Steve, also mourns his loss.

Those who knew Steve will remember his steady strength, his quiet humor, and the way
he made every person feel valued and at ease. He had a gentle spirit and a heart that
always had room for others. His memory will live on in the stories shared, the laughter
remembered, and the love that binds his family together.
A private service will be held by the family to honor his life.
