Linda Rae McCollumn
07/03/1945 - 07/14/2025
Linda Rae McCollumn went home to our Lord on Monday, July 14, 2025 at the age of 80.
Linda was the youngest daughter born to Raymond H. McCollumn and Theresa Stanley on July 3, 1945, in Hornell, New York.
Linda had a diverse career. She was a cosmetologist in Canisteo, New York for many years. She was a talented and amazing artist. She had an illustrious career at the Corning Museum of Glass in Corning, New York, where she retired from glassworking and teaching.
In 2018 she moved to Taylorsville, Kentucky where her passion for creating continued. Her family's homes each have items that Linda skillfully created, whether it is a drawing, a painting, gorgeous beads, or the many, many Christmas ornaments she lovingly made. All will be treasured!
Linda is survived by her sister Sally Bragg (Seth), her daughters Susan J. Sias (David), Mary Anne Francis (James), and Megan L. Ridener (Daniel), her grandchildren Jacqueline Shaver, Nicholas Sias, Andrew Sias, Gavin Ridener, Kaidyn Ridener, and Emylia Ridener, and many other loving relatives and friends.
She will be missed by so many. Her pain is gone and she can chase her beautiful artistic passions on the Heavenly side of our being.
Linda's wishes were for cremation. Her ashes will be laid to rest at Highland Memorial Gardens, in Mount Washington, Kentucky, in the Mausoleum of Peace, near her family. A memorial service honoring our beloved Sister, Mother, Grandmother, Aunt and good friend to many, will be held at a later date.

I met Linda a few times. She was smart, had a lot of hobbies, and she had an infectious sense of humor. It takes a special type of person to accept a son-in-law as one of her own kids. To have raised as nice of a person as Mary Anne is more than enough for me to know she was a special person that will be missed many.

I met Linda through an online crafting/art group. She was so talented and so generous. She sent me a couple of pieces of her art when she knew I was struggling with my health. That’s just the way she was. She loved to help others. Your family will be in my prayers.

I met Linda online through an FB crafting group. She shared her beautiful projects as well as her kind words and encouragement. Although I did not meet Linda in real life, she always felt like a warm hug. My deepest condolences to her family and friends.
