Linda Rae McCollumn
07/03/1945 - 07/14/2025
Linda Rae McCollumn went home to our Lord on Monday, July 14, 2025 at the age of 80.
Linda was the youngest daughter born to Raymond H. McCollumn and Theresa Stanley on July 3, 1945, in Hornell, New York.
Linda had a diverse career. She was a cosmetologist in Canisteo, New York for many years. She was a talented and amazing artist. She had an illustrious career at the Corning Museum of Glass in Corning, New York, where she retired from glassworking and teaching.
In 2018 she moved to Taylorsville, Kentucky where her passion for creating continued. Her family's homes each have items that Linda skillfully created, whether it is a drawing, a painting, gorgeous beads, or the many, many Christmas ornaments she lovingly made. All will be treasured!
Linda is survived by her sister Sally Bragg (Seth), her daughters Susan J. Sias (David), Mary Anne Francis (James), and Megan L. Ridener (Daniel), her grandchildren Jacqueline Shaver, Nicholas Sias, Andrew Sias, Gavin Ridener, Kaidyn Ridener, and Emylia Ridener, and many other loving relatives and friends.
She will be missed by so many. Her pain is gone and she can chase her beautiful artistic passions on the Heavenly side of our being.
Linda's wishes were for cremation. Her ashes will be laid to rest at Highland Memorial Gardens, in Mount Washington, Kentucky, in the Mausoleum of Peace, near her family. A memorial service honoring our beloved Sister, Mother, Grandmother, Aunt and good friend to many, will be held at a later date.

I remember all the perms Aunt Linda gave me in the 80’s. I also remember all the good times us girls shared swinging. We could do that all day long! I still love to swing btw and do it every chance I get.
So sorry for everyone’s loss.
Love you,
Jennifer (cousin)

Linda seemed to be a very nice lady. I met while working on the property where she lived out her final years. I do know she will be missed always by her daughter, Mary Anne and her husband James, as well as her other children and grandchildren, friends and loved ones. Thank you to God, that she is no longer in pain or suffering. Now she is in a place where she is living, pain-free, and truly and totally happy in the presence of our Lord!
